So many clear NCAA violations in the way Florida handled these negotiations. Unfortunately, the NCAA will look the other way.
The lawyers will do well in this NIL world…new market for ambulance chasing.
Some interesting things here.
1) The contract doesn’t stipulate that he play for UF, just that he play college football and live in Gainesville, FL.
2) Some/much of this may fall on Rashada. What kind of due diligence did he due to convince him that the collective could pay him? Would anyone here sign a contract with Onward Setonia for a few million dollars a year? If so, you’ll get what you deserve.
3) The amounts are absurd for minimal activity, just absurd.
