With Dan off the board, figured I'd get this going for this week for our regular contributors on this thread.
1. Connecticut 15-2 (5-1)
Winning while waiting on Clingan's return.
2. Creighton 13-4 (4-2)
Winners of four straight now bring the show on the road this week with two games at Big East leaders UConn and Seton Hall.
3. St. John's 12-5 (4-2)
Four game win streak snapped with a one point nailbiter in Omaha. Playing well coming to Newark Tuesday.
4. Marquette 11-5 (2-3)
Lost only three times in 20 league games last season. Took them only five games to do that this season.
5. Villanova 11-5 (4-1)
Quietly won 5 out of 6 since a three game losing streak in December.
6. Seton Hall 12-5 (5-1)
Are they for real? Recent resume says yes, metrics say probably not. Big week ahead.
7. Xavier 8-8 (2-3)
Not a great record but this team wins big when it does win.
8. Providence 11-6 (2-4)
Four straight L's after starting league play 2-0. Due to the loss of Hopkins or just coming back down to earth? Probably both.
9. Butler 10-6 (2-4)
Competitive at home against UConn and Seton Hall, but lost both late. Lost four out of last five.
10. Georgetown 8-9 (1-5)
Showed some signs of life this week but the only reason they aren't 11th is because of...
11. DePaul 3-13 (0-5)
Historically bad major conference team. Current NET of 288, just ahead of the likes of Kansas City, Delaware State, and UTRGV.
