Article mentions the relationship with Seton Hall. Another example of the changing landscape of healthcare in the state and how it could effect the success of the Med School. By the end of this decade, don't be surprised if there are about a half dozen systems that either own or control just about every hospital in the state. The big three right now are Barnabas/RWJUH, Atlantic Health and now Hackensack/Meridian....over 10,000 hospital beds.

Hackensack mergers

FYI, the BOR just had a meeting regarding details of the relationship.

HUMN has fronted millions more than the university, but it was important that Seton Hall be on board as our Governor was arm twisting over a year ago that it be Rutgers. HUMN had worked with Dr. Esteban and the BOR that Seton Hall be the medical school associated with their ever expanding network.

Real curious to see the name of our new medical school.

I can't imagine it's equal....HUMC is fronting way more
