Dalembert has agreed on a one-year deal with the Mavericks,Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports.

This is probably a good move for Dallas, as their big man rotation seemed a little thin due to the DeAndre Jordam fiasco. The 34-year-old figures to back up Zaza Pachulia at center and receive somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 minutes per game.

Great news for Sam Dalembert, another year of many years collecting an NBA paycheck.

Averaging 7.7ppg, 7.8rpg & 1.7bpg over his 13 year career. Not too shabby.

And I believe his contract for 2015-2016, according to his ESPN bio page is 1 year for roughly $4 mil.

Congrats to Dalembert.

I'm glad he's going to a team that has a chance to make some noise. Dallas had a strong winning record (50-32) last season in the very tough Southwest division.

It will also be excellent to play for Rick Carlisle, who has won NBA championships as a player and as a head coach.
