It’s not that we lack courage or hope on this board - I see plenty of that here throughout seasons good and bad. It’s just that the reality is after our performance yesterday, we left the door open for the real possibility of being passed over by the committee. That’s just the blunt truth of the situation and people here are processing and acknowledging it. Nothing wrong with that. It sucks to be that bubble team that has to now sit back and see how it plays out while others are still on the court, fighting to take a spot that was ours.
It’s a tough pill to swallow after being on the right side of the bubble for much of the season. In all likelihood we still make it, but it would be by the skin of our teeth. The team should have treated yesterday as a Must Win game and they didn’t. Now we have to settle in for the bumpy ride. It is what it is.
