My all time favorite basketball announcer is calling it quits

I am very analytical so it would stand to reason that my favorite announcer is Hubie Brown. No yelling and screaming. No look at me. Just basketball. You can learn so much of the game just listening to him broadcast a contest. At 91 years old he's still incredible.

Capitol Hill is not serious

Seems like some members of Congress practically exist to troll. A few names that come to mind: Ted Cruz, MTG, and Nancy Mace. On the Democratic side: John Fetterman and Jared Moskowitz.

Actually doing anything constructive in Congress seems secondary for them.
I'm not going to defend anyone who is trolling constantly although I do like Fetterman. Nicole Malliotakis did not make your list. So the fact she has a sense of humor and can laugh at things is good as long as that goes with getting shit done.

As I said authenticity matters, putting on the McDonald's apron and putting on the vest as a garbage man were 2 very good troll moves. I don't know where everyone here works so maybe some people never told a joke or laughed at a colleague or was ever the butt end of a joke at work. In my opinion that sucks. I've built some great comradery with many people that way. Telling a joke is great but being able to take a joke takes down barriers between people. Right now democrats don't have the confidence to take a joke. Republicans are becoming more relatable because they can.
