Taught in Paterson for over 40 years so please do not lecture me on school security .Just thought that was a knucklehead add on to use your term . The debate did not change anyone's mind on their vote I believe . At least it was in the most part civil with no trump like name calling etc.You cherry picked part of his answer. It also included more resources and security for the schools. The windows and doors was an add on to more school security. Are you opposed to more resources in schools? Or is the only answer to get rid of all guns.
The best part for Walz’s answer on him being in China is he’s a knucklehead. Riding a bike in Nebraska as a kid, 400 people in his town and whatever else he said was weird. Tim just saying he lied might have been better.
There was a game at prime time. Did you want all four on prime time? And two tonite. They don't watch the whole game but you think they just don't watch any of it? In any event, this is becoming an overly neurotic conversation. The point is, if kids are at school and adults are at work, they aren't able to consume your product. End of story. Any form of entertainment considered of value is placed in prime time. This is why the marquee Olympic sports were broadcast live during the day here and replayed in prime time. They want the product consumed en masse. Why MLB doesn't want the same, I just don't get it.
In this crazy world that makes up todays college world of sports nothing is off the table. No football conference is raiding a basketball only school. None.

Walz did reasonably well but he had no chance to keep up with Vance’s intellect. Even if you disagree with his policy there’s no denying that Vance was made for prime time.
No football conference is raiding a basketball only school. None. The Big. East looks to be a likely target to be raided if a power 5 conference wants to add a school that doesn’t need to have football but does have a major basketball program.. If that does happen UConn and Nova would lead the list of schools to be poached.

The superbowl doesn’t start at 8.

The superbowl doesn’t start at 8.A lot more than the zero kids watching it while in school. I feel like you are arguing just because you want to argue. By your rationale, what kid is watching the Super Bowl, the NBA Playoffs, WWE, or pretty much anything that starts when the sun goes down. Very narrow viewpoint.

I suspect they were not interested in joining the big east. The pac-2 is a much better geographic choice for themfor those who whined about the distance, now how do you feel? writing was on the wall, should have added them last few years and get the eventual exit fee.
Pretty much the consensus - Vance was better - although the losers were Brennan and O’Donnel. Really pathetic on their follow-up questions.Vance has been really good tonight. Walz, aside from early nerves/jitters, has been pretty good as well. Best debate we've seen in a number of years.
Am I crazy or are these two far more competent than those at the top of each of their tickets?
Way too negative . It will be near impossible to get 4/5 star recruits put even before NIL we only got very few of them anyway and still were very competitive . Today we have to use our NIL money wisely with 3 star recruits , foreign players and transfers . So the important thing is that we must continue our NIL efforts both large and small to compete. GO PIRATES !!!!!i think the hats and watches are a great idea. and extremely commendable from all the people/fans who are trying all of these NIL efforts. its really honorable.
i just dont think any effort, no matter how amazing will move the needle. too little too late for seton hall.
teams who are going after mass volume small fish are doing so because it's the only thing left to get an edge over the rest of the field. they all have big donors and the little doners move them the extra 10% needed to get the advantage. and the large schools with big populations can scale their fanbase when its still just a fixed amount of players on the team.
its sad but as it stands now seton hall is a thing of the past. its great weve even made it the past two years but how do you scale this every single year?? thats a lot of watches
This is all well and good but Portland, Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount et al will now toil in total obscurity as their media rights value just flatlined.Yes, but at least now there is a reasonable competitive balance. It’s like having Jay Wright Villanova compete in the MAAC. It doesn’t make sense. It’s not fun for anyone - fans, players, coaches, etc.
