At some point there needs to be a line drawn.
And whatever are those issues are don't make him a bad person. This board is full of hypocrites. But go ahead and show your moral high ground. Good for all of you.Why do you keep ignoring all of the other issues with Hobbs beyond cheating on his wife?
I don’t agree with the characterization that it’s just a dumb decision. Drunk driving is making a conscious choice to endanger the lives of others. It gets minimized too often. I hope Walz learned his lesson, but he is running to be Vice President. At some point there needs to be a line drawn. No one is.
It's the suggestion that a person can not learn from a dumb decision 30 years prior that seems off.
He's lucky he didn't hurt someone (and would not be on the ticket if he did) but it is something he can learn from and appears he did.
but they make a good SHU coach right? It’s a reflection of character, regardless of when it happened. There is never an excuse to drink and drive, let alone drink and drive recklessly. Only selfish and reckless POS get behind the wheel when they are hammered, putting the lives of others in danger.
Nobody has ever died as the result of a “falsified business record” People are killed everyday by drunk drivers. Disqualifying for any candidate for executive office.
Conversely if the Republican VP candidate had been convicted of drunk driving we’d be hearing about it non stop from the mainstream media. Yet barely a word about it when it’s a Dem.
dont know what this is but seems like a term you can throw out when you have absolutely no answer. a white flag if you will.More TDS…
Why do you keep ignoring all of the other issues with Hobbs beyond cheating on his wife?Sorry, I am not going to condemn a person as bad because he or she cheated on their spouse. Moreover, I won't then accuse someone else of being a cheater for having a different opinion than you. They may have done a bad thing but it does not make them a bad person. I guess because this is a Catholic school all the morality police with their noses in the air have to condemn a guy who has done a. lot of good for a lot of people and institutions.
I know what bad people are. I am glad people on this board have not run into these bad people who consider a guy who cheats on his spouse as a bad person. I wonder how many of the great people who have walked this earth will now be considered bad based upon this standard.
Let's go through some: Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr, FDR, JFK., David Petraeus I am sure there are countless of universally admired men who are now considered bad guys based upon this standard.
I can’t believe anyone would debate the depravity of drunk driving.

people grow apart all the time but betraying trust , lying , and doing things behind a partners back absolutely makes you a bad person. one of the most upsetting things you can do to somebody.
thats not even mentioning the worse part of the scandal
Two very simple questions for you.Let’s just excuse him for everything he said. What about when he said the Constitution should be suspended? How many times do you have to excuse his words? Second of all, boost the American energy sector? lol government does not drill. Private companies do. Second, under Biden, the country has produced more oil in the past two years than ever was done under Trump.
You then Ignore all my other factors of why his called a dictator.
Except Trump is not Bernie Madoff, and as far as I’m aware there are no victims of the “crime” he was convicted of in New York. Not for anything but DWI is not a crime. Quasi-criminal at best. Trump has committed felony crimes. Your excuse of paper work crime would excuse every white collar crime that has ever occurred including Madoff. Hey. It’s only a paper crime.
No. unless there was an accident that resulted in a death someone was injured. That felony is handled in Superior Court. DWI's are handled in municipal court and are considered quasi-criminal.So you never prosecuted a DWI?
lol. That is a fair comparison. Lincoln suspending the writ of habeas corpus with Trump wanting to actually "terminate" the constitution for what?????? oh yeah -losing the election.Must have learned that from Abraham Lincoln.
I’ve been critical of Trump often and I never voted for him. Trump is wrong a lot, but be honest because all of the nonsense talking points are just that.Oh watching the Republican D-bag videos and stealing his tag line?
Hmm, suspending the constitution or trying to stop disinformation. What about Trump wanting to jail members of the press? Can you ever just criticize and say Trump is wrong. You just walk lock step with everything or mostly everything he does.

Your excuse of paper work crime would excuse every white collar crime that has ever occurred including Madoff. Hey. It’s only a paper crime.Endless talk from the MSNBC crew on this board about Trump’s alleged paperwork crimes yet nothing about Tim Walz driving 95mph in a 55mph zone with a .128 BAC and then lying about it for decades. Can’t say I’m surprised though.
Another community that has rallied around one of their youth volunteers. Kudos to Jerry Recco (and yes, I know he does Rutgers play-by-play) for using his celebrity to help out this family. ALS is a devastating disease, coupled with the costs for treatment that this family is going to have to endure as well. God bless Scott Goldsberry and his family on their long journey.
