Who Didn't See This Coming

Can’t UNLV just pull his scholarship and send him a tuition bill?
Sure, but do they really want to make themselves look worse? The story as it stands is that UNLV didn't hold up their end of the agreement. If they can flip it and prove something like they did hold up their end and now he's coming back for more that changes things. But unless the happens, UNLV will (justly IMO) be perceived as the one in the wrong here. Doubling down on it isn't smart.

That sounds like Marketing 101. I’m sure kids will line up to play.

Of course they can. He could pay, he could drop out due to the dispute, but he would play somewhere next year for pay because he has talent (not because he’s an academic marvel).

But UNLV will never get another player on a promise to pay (that is if the whole promise to pay was real and he only got moving costs).

Ok then why don’t we sell tickets to an autograph session that follows an exhibition game?
They have done that. People complained about the cost and I’m sure the turnout was paltry. Posters bought spaces for people to bring their kids but the complaint was then that they had to pay for the adult space themselves.

Hate to say it, comes down to the simple fact that our fans outside the die hards here and there, just suck.

There is no sea of gray jerseys at the Rock.
118 people bought 144 hats.
The watch will not get done because production numbers won’t be hit.
The Peter Millar golf attire is deemed too expensive.
Every exclusive event is bitched about because of cost.
People complain about the rise in cost for the beefsteak and complain about the food.

Blame the school? Sure, I guess somewhat. Obviously there is something amiss since we cannot cultivate the same spirit other schools can. But the blame itself lies with the fans.

Five-Game Mini Plan Now On Sale!

Cannot make everybody happy. If you don't like the mini plan buy individual tickets to the games you want. $25 priority seating is for very good seats. For example I pay $480 for my priority season ticket which is dead mid court row 11 . It all depends where you want to sit and or can afford .
And there you have it. Obviously the best value per game and choice of games is a season ticket package.

I feel like we have answered this question multiple times already. It is an NCAA violation to charge people money to watch the team practice or play another team and give it to NIL. You can have a separate autograph session after, you can have a luncheon, a basketball clinic etc but you cannot charge people to watch them play and call it NIL.

That's gotta be, that's gotta be Kean

Sounds like another Democratic activist posing as a journalist.

Fair point. Many members don’t do hallway interviews. Most acknowledge the interviewer and say that so it looks kind of odd but maybe had he not started with “do you regret endorsing Donald Trump” and make it seem like you’re trying to get to what’s important for the people of Nj.

These mini plans get worse every year. There isn't even flexibility. And what is a $25 priority seat premium?
How flexible do you want it? You’re picking the friggin games in groups.

If you’re looking for STJ, UConn, Nova, senior night and another BE game, I think the season ticket package is the answer.

It’s a tremendous deal to have access to 2 marquee games, 2 good BE including senior night and you have to take an OOC cupcake.
