NIL and Portal - The Value of "Lifetime Scholarships" Essay

Fresh off our W over Conn on Saturday and as a guy that loves college sports and all things Setonia, I wrote a piece about the concept of "lifetime scholarships" in college sports. Yes NIL and portal are here to stay but as a branding pro, if feels like many players have short term "take the money and run" thinking with their brands. The notion of building a brand at one school allows for connections and engagements that can be monetized down the road - well after the playing career is done - think Jerry Walker. Agree or disagree?

NJ GOP really going after the big issues

I doubt you’re a pro plastic person with everything you have posted here about health and food, so I’m just not sure why you’d be in favor of more plastic bag waste is a good option.

Just so I understand what you’re arguing here, are you arguing that we should have more plastic waste, or are you arguing against incremental changes to reduce that waste? Or is it just politics?

Yes, because idiots will stomp their feet and whine that their drinking experience is slightly worse than it used to be and they can’t deal with that.
So the companies are ok to deal with idiots stomping their feet on straws, but not cups. People are drinking from paper cups for their hot drinks and don't complain. Nobody complained when many businesses switched from styrofoam to paper. You know it's not about customer reaction. You know it's about profit and not about saving the planet or drinking experience. They change the straws because it's a cheap way to show hey we're doing something green. And then you get a couple idiots who become loyalists because look how great they are, they changed the straw!!!!!

In the mean time, explain how come when you buy produce you bag it in a plastic bag?

5 times?

Or was it 6. The inbounds defense - on saturday was insanely good at the end. Just watched again. Cant imagine i ever saw that before. Yes. An obvious observation. But as gary's other team said last summer - OMG.
Scotty is a pest on the inbounder. A bundle of energy jumping around like he's on a pogo stick with arms and legs waving all over. Once inbounded, he flys over to trap in the corners like the Tasmanian Devil (great example by Dan).

This is how I felt when Sha let Jahari Long go after Willard praised him but at least Willard was willing to take him. Maybe the previous regime who gave them positive reviews or Hunter Biden can get some of these positive reviewed employees jobs. After all Hunter is a tremendous international businessman. I'm sure the companies he's involved with need good employees.
what?

First look at the brand new Seton Hall Basketball Performance Center‼️

He is not in a position to help. He underwrote many relatives and friends in Haiti. He is a cautionary tale.

Exactly. That’s part of the reason why it’s not easy to switch.

It’s more expensive, and that cost has to go to the consumer and they don’t want consumption to decrease. It’s the right thing to do, but the public has to be on board and willing to pay for it.

Bags were easy to stop because we can adapt quickly. (Well some people can) Glass is not easy to switch to.
Love how we make the consumers adapt but when it comes to big business politicians draw the line.

Isn’t it equally good that people drink less soda if it’s more expensive? Sounds like a small change people can deal with. Or is that a horror?

Next Season

It's spring 1986 and we're coming off a 14-18 (3-13 BE) season. Which of these players are we looking to keep?

30 MPG - 14 PPG - 52.3 FG - 7.5 RPG - 0.5 APG
23.3 MPG - 7.6 PPG - 39.4 FG - 1.7 RPG - 1.8 APG
19.7 MPG - 7.5 PPG - 44.1 FG - 1.5 RPG - 2.5 APG
16.9 MPG - 6.3 PPG - 44.5 FG - 4.2 RPG - 0.3 APG
24.4 MPG - 6.2 PPG - 47.8 FG - 4.1 RPG - 0.9 APG
16.3 MPG - 5.0 PPG - 52.0 FG - 1.4 RPG - 2.1 APG
25.2 MPG - 3.3 PPG - 30.1 FG - 2.6 RPG - 5.2 APG
5.6 MPG - 2.4 PPG - 61.9 FG - 1.4 RPG - 0.1 APG
8.3 MPG - 2.2 PPG - 57.1 FG - 2.2 RPG - 0.1 APG

This team lost to Columbia at home and St. Peter's on the road. There were also wins over Pace, Lemoyne and Dowling.

They switched out glass for plastic pretty damn quick when they found out how much cheaper it is. Glass is heavier so more money to transport and glass breaks. Neither of which is something ceo’s want to hear.

Sam Dalembert was probably our most financially successful professional athlete, given the era he played in and the longevity he had. Would be wonderful if he was in the position to help and if our program has pursued it.

Basically every time I go shopping. I don’t carry bags with me for the hell of it.

Any reason why all these places like dunkin and Starbucks don’t use paper cups for their cold drinks? They have them in stock since they use them for hot drinks.

To switch out the billions of bottles produced per year for glass? Harder than you think. You don’t just change the setting from plastic to glass…

Heck we’re not even switching out plastic cups for paper cups. It’s all about picking and choosing where they want to make a political move and for some reason it’s straws and bags.
