Seton Hall

It’s not just that the Pirates were picked to finish ninth in the Big East by the league’s coaches and that placement felt well within reason. They looked like a bad team through the second week in December, with ugly losses to USC, Iowa and Rutgers. Then, out of nowhere, a switch flipped. Since the loss to its in-state rival, Seton Hall is 13-5 and two of those losses came without star guard Kadary Richmond. It has lost once at home in that span, a triple-overtime thriller to No. 15 Creighton. From mid-December until now, there isn’t a bigger surprise in the country than Shaheen Holloway’s gritty, NCAA Tournament-bound team.

Impending collapse of our banking system

It’s gonna happen sometime in the next 5 years.

They are printing $ like crazy.

What are all of you doing now to brace and prepare yourselves ?

The mindless sheep will continue to talk about political parties.

Don’t get caught off guard like those morons.

The collapse can possibly be avoided if we let elect Trump and let him actually be a President this time. Remember, he’s the ONLY one not a puppet to WEF and their one world govt blueprints.

Other than that, I guarantee they convert our system to a CAshless Digital Currency System and y’all will lose most of your wealth.

Not a conspiracy, if you choose not to believe it it’s on you, you were warned.

Great Opportunity at Creighton

These next two will be extremely tough games to win. Both Creighton and UConn have assembled rosters with an abundance of talent. Win either game and SHU is just about a lock to get a bid and will also once again garner Top 25 votes. Beating Creighton would give The Hall a two game lead for third place with three games remaining. So much to gain just from this one game.

I'm sure the Creighton coach and their fans will be well aware. So, how will their players respond coming off a bad loss at St.Johns? The good news is not a lot of practice time. However, they are really good and more than capable of turning on the focus.

We really must see the tough Seton Hall Road Team. They cannot fold and lose composure, which we have seen in some of the conference road games. Lots of eyeballs on them nationally. Not a god idea to have the NET crushed this week. Besides getting into The Tournament we also want to elevate possible seeding.

It would be good to see the reserves produce any type of point production here and really the rest of the, season. The starters are doing their part, but that's tough from game to game. Also, Khadary may have to start taking a few more three pointers per game. Let Addae-Wusu concentrate on scoring closer to the basket and have Richmond get a few more outside shots. Seton Hall's realistic chance comes from shutting down one Creighton starter or slowing down a couple. This is a great opportunity game for The Hall.

Kyra Kreuscher Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

resize

NEW YORK - Seton Hall sophomore pitcher Kyra Kreuscher (Great River, N.Y.) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.

Kreuscher pitched the Pirates to a 4-2 victory over New Mexico State on Saturday afternoon as the Pirates took part in the Sun Devil/GCU Classic. The sophomore pitched all seven innings for Seton Hall, allowing just five hits and two earned runs while striking out a pair as well. The win improved Kreushcer's record to 2-0 so far this season.

Kreuscher and the Pirates head to Florida this weekend to take part in the FIU Classic in Miami, Fla.

Interesting stat on NCSOS

Thought this was interesting. The top tier of the Big 12 has an average Ncsos of 248. They all blew out the lower tier teams and going into the big 12 have very high net scores. If net stay's around this maybe a viable strategy. I think it’s important to test your team as a litmus test. This year our team took awhile to gel and we way under performed. With many new pieces that is always a risk. If the team we have now replaced that same schedule I think we would have over perform.

Meltdown Mode - Begin

if Sha wasn’t a program legend we’d all be calling for him to be fired. His first two years have been a complete waste with no vision. Mismatched rosters. Nobody has improved under him. Kadary is the same exact player as 3 years ago, Dawes worse, Mr. NY Sanders can’t get off the bench as a sophomore on a pathetic shooting team. I thought Sha was supposed to work wonders with guards… Only getting middle of the road recruits. UGLY.

As I see it

1. Connecticut 25-3 15-2
One blip on the radar means nothing.

2. Marquette 21-6 12-4
A hair behind Creighton last week. Now a hair in front.

3. Creighton 20-8 11-6
Blow out UConn. Get Blown out by SJU.

4. Seton Hall 18-9 11-5
Hey Palm, are you paying attention?

5. Providence 18-9 9-7
Three in a row moves them up a notch. Tough schedule ahead.

6. St. John's 16-12 8-9
Soft, very soft schedule left.

7. Villanova 15-12 8-8
After cupcake Georgetown at home the schedule gets difficult.

8. Butler 16-12 7-10
Now playing as I expected all year.

9. Xavier 13-14 7-9
4 Ls in a row. Thank God what comes next, DePaul and Georgetown.

10. Georgetown 9-18 2-14
Two positive nail biters in a row against DePaul. Otherwise we're looking at 0-20.

11. DePaul 3-24 0-16
Here, we are actually looking at 0-20.
