Yes, Desi has been great. I love forwards able to push the ball if the outlet isn't there. He and Ish both can do it. Not sure yet if Mike has that talent. Wish we would speed things up.

You know Desi's shot had to be good to make the ESPN Top 10 since it was made by a BE player in a game shown on Fox. That said, it was beautiful. Likewise, IW's should have been there also instead of some of those hockey puck highlights that no one saw on TV anyway since nobody watches hockey except maybe in the Stanley Cup Finals.

At the beginning of the year we all thought the 1-2 punch on offense would be Isaiah and Angel or Isaiah and Khadeen. It is very likely that it will be Isaiah and Desi.

And considering there was some talk about Desi coming off the bench, I think that is remarkable. He is gaining confidence, and knows how to find space to shoot and can score in a multitude of ways. Also seems to have good chemistry with Isaiah since they played in high school. I know we want to get Veer more minutes, but it will be difficult to keep Desi off the floor for more than 10 minutes a game.

Anyone else think he will be the second leading score by the end of the season?

With the way he plays I think he has a real shot at being our most efficient and effective player, even better than Whitehead. He already is and I think it has staying power.

But with the reliance we have on guards to score, I think Carrington will still edge in him PPG, but Desi gets it done.

I agree on IW comment but not hockey comment. I know many Shu ball fans that also watch hockey. I will be at Rock all day next sat with a bunch of fans to watch Shu/ Wichita at noon and devils at 7. They put both on tv for a reason
