They found inflammation in the hearts of 30-35% of big10 athletes with covid. those cases arent all confirmed myocarditis.

i am not a doctor, but i assume this furthers the liability and the trepidation of athletes.

i have no dog in the fight, but i assume someone who goes through 9 years of med school possible 2 yrs of fellowship etc can weigh in just a bit on the situation.

Actual study was 15%, which would still be quite high... but data has not been peer reviewed so can’t put stock into it yet.

one one hand it could be very relieving (covid) on the other hand it could be alarming if that many people have it in general.

If you’re trying to make a case, you would want the “expert” opining to have credible related credentials. This was a big fail.
