5 reasons Seton Hall could be dangerous in the Tourney

next couple of games are going to be very interesting for us. If we beat PC, and beat Xavier, I will definitely see us as being a very dangerous tourney team.

One learning from the St. John's game is how think we are in the front court. If Delgado gets in foul trouble and Ish as well, we are painfully weak/inexperienced.

Catholicman's 5 Reasons Seton Hall could be dangerous in the NCAA Tournament:
1. Isaiah Whitehead (Brooklyn)
2. Desi Rodriguez (Bronx)
3. Angel Delgado (Dominican Rep.)
4. Khadeen Carrington (Brooklyn)
5. Ishmael Sanogo (Newark)

The Ledger, cant stop crowing about their hometown favorite.................lol

Notice you didn't include what's his name and probably for good reason. lol

Man is it really necessary to bash Willard in every single one of your posts? The guy has done a good job this year. We are in the crux of our most sccessful season in 10+ years, and you act like he is some bum.

You're right. I will forthwith have a case of amnesia for all past transgressions by the worlds best coach KW (there i said it) and only wish Hobbs was here to give w an extension based on this year since its what have you done for me lately that counts.

BTW - I'm enjoying what the men and women teams have done this year and hope it continues. I have no doubt it will with the women's team.

Who said KW is the best coach in the world? Only you. Most fans who want the best for the program hope he does succeed so that we don't have to go thru another debilitating coaching search that will set the program back another few years.

That being said, we still have work to do. Our next three games are against potential NCAA teams (obviously X is a lock) two of which will be desparate for wins. Then of course the nightmare scenario in Chicago. I'm as optimistic as anyone but it won't be easy.

If this were a thread about Willard, your post would make sense. But stop making everything about Willard. We get it, he's not great. Stop ruining the reading experience for me.

Let's wait until we get in before worrying about how dangerous we can be in the tournament. Win the next 2 and we can have the conversation about how kw will coach us to a loss in our first NCAA game since 2006.

Enough with the Willard bash. We have some real exciting time right now and Willard has done a really good job with these kids. From all accounts they respect him as a coach and if he can have success and get into the NCAAs, pull in another strong recruit ( I understand Taurean Thompson is pretty higj on Shu ) and get to keep the super Sophs together for another year or two he deserves to be here. People were down on PJ when I was on campus and look what he eventually did and you can argue with perceived ( at the time) lesser talent than we have on this team.

Gordon is probably top 5 in terms of importance.

but theres no way we beat prov and x... our last two games have basically been dreadful

Gordon is probably top 5 in terms of importance.
The biggest reason for this season, if you ask me. He is the one who stabilized the situation on this team, setting its defensive tone, and also kept things together when it looked during Creighton like the meltdown was about to start.

1. Whitehead
2. Desi
3. Angel
4. Defense
5. Luck - sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Ex. A team gets upset, a favorable matchup, etc

LOL dont expect #5 to play on our side too much. feel like we've already used up all our luck this year haha.

This has been a nice season but I don't think we are dangerous. We've beat the teams we should have beaten but haven't proven we can stay competitive for 40 minutes, hit free throws, not turn the ball over so much, hit a decent clip from 3 and not make freshman mistakes. Now its the tourney so we can make the sweet 16 as much as we can get beat up in the 1st round.
