Especially when you take 35.

Best thing is W. State got 6 fouls really fast and then 10 quickly as well in the second half.

Not shooting one and ones takes a lot of pressure off the shooter.

How well did we shoot FTs at crunch time at the end of regulation and in OT?

Just seemed to me that we were shooting them around 50% towards those two periods.

Maybe because every time we missed one I went nuts.

As usual, when you make more than the other team takes you have a great chance to win. Get to the rim and get fouled and make the old fashioned three point play. We may not have shooters like we did but getting to the rim and fouling out their players is so much better.

We made enough at crunch time to salt this away. And the simple fact is that 74% in college is a good %. In fact it places you in the top 10% of D 1 teams

I have to admit it didn't "feel" like a 74% game sitting there today. We must've gone 1/2 about 3-4 times down the stretch too. Fortunately just enough!

They missed a lot in the first half. But Angel making 2-2 in the 2nd half and Ish making two FTs in the final minute of regulation were huge.

VanVleet made two late crucial free throws down two with 11.7 seconds left to send the game into O/T.

He's a 64.7% foul shooter in limited action this year so give him big ups on those shots.
