A truly great and humble man. I had the pleasure of attending one of his Sunday School classes in Plains a couple of years back.

Imagine what the world would be like if everyone had this man's heart? Truly the best of us.

When I saw his name come up on twitter I feared the worse. So glad that he is still with us. Even if his days are numbered.

Still remember his opening ad for the presidency - “Hi, I Jimmy Carter….”. No one knew who he was, but his persona was unbelievable.

A good man. Glad he had a 2nd act. Was not a successful president but did many good things post his presidency. Always found it interesting how Clinton kept him far away. That non embrace truly ticked off many Carter insiders.
