I was ushering the 5:00 Mass here in Andover yesterday when Monsignor McHugh[Pope John Headmaster] emerged to say the Mass. We had a few minutes to chat so, of course-OF COURSE- I asked Monsignor about the 3 players who were the key operatives on PJ's State Finalist last season[I know he's a big follower]. The guy I was most interested in discussing was Jeromy Rodriguez: here is what Monsignor told me-as the season went on, it became evident that Jeromy was PJ's top option, regardless of the fact that their roster included Moustapha Diagne[6'9 C Syra recruit] and 6'5 Jr Swing James Scott, an accomplished scorer. Jeromy was their best player. Now, he is down at a JUCO in No Fla[along with Diagne, who had some sort of transcript issues with the NCAA, what a surprise!]. But, here's the deal-Monsignor tells me he will probably look to come out after this season, he's 6'7, he's a leaper, he can hit a 3, he's a splendid rebounder-and 1 other little aside-Jeromy's Dominican! Could Angel help here? They would play side by side for 2 full yrs. Just my opinion, I think this could be a home run for Seton Hall
