if we go 7-3 the last 10 and DO not lose to Depaul or Georgetown we are safely in the field. 6-4 gets dicey but hey at least we have our path!

Yep. 12-8 is the magic number. Pretty strong odds the Pirates make it if they get there. The million dollar question is, will they?
11-9 and the majority of this board will be drenched in sweat on Selection Sunday.

The fact that we even have a path from how dismal it looked early in the season is a testament to how hard this team has worked. Let’s come back stronger after the bye week and make believers out of us all.
i think the fact were even having this coversation is a positive thing about this season. even if we finish off the bubble.
We really needed to beat Marquette. I think 7-3 is going to be extremely difficult.

Home - Creighton, Xavier, Nova (2 wins - can't expect to win all of them)
Away - Butler, St John's, UCONN, Nova, Providence (can we really get 3?)

I think the next three games are all must wins if you have NCAA aspirations. None of these three teams will be playing in the big dance. If you're tournament worthy, go out and beat them.
We needed to split with UConn and Marq. We did that. We’re down largely because we were embarrassed at home by a better team. I think we rebound.
Exactly. A week ago we all knew we’d need to get at least one win on the home stand - mission accomplished.
The way the Marquette game went leaves a bad taste but doesn’t change the fact that we picked up a massive Q1 win against UConn. If we take care of business in the next 3 games, I’d start to like our odds of dancing.
We not only need to win the next three, we need to play more disciplined basketball on both ends. Team needs to commit to playing better ball or we won’t ever beat better teams. Hoping to see more UConn second half defense and sharing the ball offensively.
