The short answer is patience. Time will tell how this plays out. The coach just wants to win games. He is going to play the guys that he feels will give the best chance. He has the final word as he should. He is not going anywhere. He is a Seton Hall guy who had a middle school almost go to the Final 4. He had last year's team win the NIT. His credit is still at a very high level. My opinion in year three is he can coach or teach defense with the right players. He has a passion for that aspect of basketball. His offense lacks structure, and he recruits players that fit the mold. It's hard to believe a great PG that he was, cannot find an adequate PG someplace to run a stable offensive set. The NIL problem is huge for roster construction, but the coaching staff have to do their homework selecting any player moving forward. So, let's just improve, play the young guys who show promise and win some of these conference games. Winning two BigEast Tournament games this year may be the high-water mark.
