Another Day, Another Accuser....

I thought we hit rock bottom with this monster months ago, & have been continually surprised how much lower we've gotten with/from him ever since. Hillary (who of course is bad on a lot of issues herself) could not make this election about her policies vs. his if she tried bc of what a slimeball he is & how he's ran his campaign similarly.

ahem..... Hillary's glass house has a lot of dings in it.... she is associated with more unsavory situations than any one running for public office than anyone I can remember...... always close to an indictment but never formally indicted. Ask the myriad FBI, Justice dept investigators who were floored with Comey's comments.

To say that Trump initiated the current tone of the dialogue...... is a little disingenuous. Both are willing participants. Of course the media is a big contributor here, because they ignore most of Clinton's negatives.... which means that someone...Trump, has to remind them. For instance, the Clinton's email and server situations would not have been a serious topic of the last debate had not Trump basically forced it into the dialogue, because the moderator would not..

....... let me say that life is full of imperfect decisions. You can claim all sorts of negatives against either of the candidates ... for me it comes down to a couple issues..... security (border and international), protection of the unborn, the economy, the future of the Supreme Court... not necessarily in that order. We know where we are headed if Clinton gets the nod...... at least with Trump we have a chance.

I am no fan of Clinton but, a Trump Pesidency could set this country back for years.

He is the worst major party candidate in my lifetime.

I understand about Trump's negatives.... but what about the issues? One path leads to Liberal Progressiveness / Socialistic policies. The other leads to probably something more centrist as compared to Dem philosophies......... We are certain what we will get with Hillary.... with Trump not so certain, but imo better possibilities than with Clinton.

I do agree with Trump that the media has set this up completely in Clinton's favor tilting the vast majority of their coverage to positives for Clinton and negatives for Trump. I submit that many voters will be swayed by this. They almost totally ignore Hillary's negatives....... to that extent... this election is rigged..... witness what the Head of NYC Board of elections said re: voter fraud. He , a Democrat called out some real weaknesses in the voter registration and voting process that just begs for fraud. Of course he is being vilified by NYC mayor.

I'm about as progressive as it gets. If you think Hillary is going to anything remotely near true liberalism outside of some social decisions/policies, then you've been reading way too much Newsmax. Progressives don't trust Hillary at all on anything outside of women's rights, equality, minority rights, etc. She's going to bring more war overseas, she's pro-TPP (don't believe her "evolution" on the topic AT ALL...plus that crazy "liberal" Obama is gonna try & ramrod it through during the lame duck session so it's not her problem anyway....disgusting), she isn't really against fracking, she backed by tons of financial & other big money interests, she's SUPER pro-corporate & as establishment as it gets. Hillary will barely upset the apple cart when she wins.

Also, you write your post as if everyone on here is a right wing kook like you. There's plenty of Dems & liberals on here.

Your tepid criticism of Trump isn't fooling anybody either btw.

And Trump's calls that the election is rigged shows what a whiny little bitch he is, and not the tough guy strongman leader he purports to be. It's also dangerous coded language, and is worrisome considering how stupid, angry, violent & prejudice his true believers are. If only ONE of them is inspired to do something harmful after november 8th, it will be his fault, b/c language like that from a presidential nominee is unacceptable. But he doesn't care, and has been using coded language for years now.

I still hope our players take a knee during the anthem just to make you mad.

Hah ... your post solo is just full of examples of what has happened to discourse... even on this board. ..... I have been called worse things than a right wing kook.... I've also been lumped into a basket full of deplorables... you added on stupid, violent.. angry..... prejudiced.... all that from a couple of posts where I expressed my opinion....... glad I didn't fool you.... you happen to have been able to get into the crevices of my mind and know exactly what I was thinking when I wrote these... you have broken through all the codes... ...what insight you have.

Bobbie... you shouldn't be so angry, violent stupid and prejudiced....... take a day to cool off...you need help

... and yes it would bother me if SHU players bought into the false narrative that is Black Lives Matters. If they do , they should express it on their own time and not during the playing of the National Anthem.

I will not try to convince anyone to vote for HIllary. She is hard to support and I really don't want to vote for her at all... but feel I have to because of the guy she is running against.

Trump's rhetoric is beyond dangerous. Just look at what happened last week with the guys arrested who were plotting to kill innocent people because of their religion. It is disgusting and is directly tied to Trump. Trump has vilified Mexicans, Muslims, reporters to a level we have never seen in politics. It is so disturbing, I can't understand why anyone of sound mind could vote for him to lead the country.

I'm not sure what you think we have a "chance" of if Trump is elected but I just can't imagine it being anything remotely close to being good...

There is nothing wrong with political discourse but when you resort to name calling you are doing nothing but trying to suppress others opinions...and by the way true liberalism used to stand for smaller government and more individual freedom not what it means today. (please don't jump on me for voting for either and using that as your argument. I will be voting for neither. Just pointing out that the name calling does nothing for anyone).
