last season it was the Creighton loss at home which ended up being one of the better responses by a team under Willard's tenure. Now here we are and I think the season might be at risk of going into the shitter depending on how Willard can motivate and build the team back up from what has been one of the more brutal weeks we've had over the last couple of seasons.
As noted by others, we're not as bad as we looked last night. But I did see that the team had very little fight in them once things got down. Our trademark this year is to be hard playing, relentless basketball team that will make the opposition work for every rebound, point, loose ball, etc.. Need to get that energy back; without it, we're at real risk.
