St Johns is beating Cuse late in the game at MSG.

St Johns is improving rapidly.
They have a lot of decent players, but no big star.
They will not be a pushover.

Couple of game notes:
Cuse couldn't hit a basket/layup in the last 3 minutes, many were "how did he miss that" type.
Red Storm ball handlers under pressure are awful. Several Cuse steals resulting in missed shots. Unbelievable.
SH coaching staff might just want to pressure them just sayin.
Red Storm has at least one player who will give AD a run for his money from the free throw line. Brick city baby.

It sure serves Cuse some justice to lose to a BE team. Hopefully, many more losses to come will help them drop to the Boston College level of post BE lack of success.

Absolutely. Good W for BE. Maybe Boeheim is key to Cuse's success. Cuse looked awful.

But St Johns is not going to to shoot 12-24 from 3 anytime soon. A lot of those appeared to be from about 23 feet.

We have seen this play out a lot. Syracuse is always talented and their zone can be a headache for most teams to solve. But it does allow for long range shooting and when inferior teams get hot look for upsets.

You rip the threes and you can beat cuse. We have had a couple of average teams romp over them. But great win. I actually checked a second site when I saw the espn score fearing a typo. DePaul looks real down. Billy Garrett Jr deserves a better team to lead.
