Anyone still not believe?

FAU has come a very long way. He’s passed but Schnellenberger really set D1 athletics at FAU on the right track.

Contract length in coaches contracts doesn’t typically mean much. Will be very surprised if he sticks. Very few Mark Fews

He is a weird cat not driven by money, he rides his bike to campus everyday. I think his new 10 year contract is not even for that much money. He could get way more on open market

10 year 16M contract with 0 state income tax and 0 pressure? Lock me up and throw away the key. there is an old saying "Don't ever try to get happier than happy"

Jalen Gaffney is having a good season at FAU. In the upset over Arizona he played all 40 minutes and had 20 points, four assists and five rebounds.

Isn't he a tenth year senior? He played under Ollie I think. He can collect Social Security soon. On the subject of transfers/portals - CL - how many of the current Fab Five recruiting class go into the portal? A few aren't getting much burn.

They run really good stuff. Great fastbreak. They have a nice mix of free flowing read & react, good actions, and set plays. Always pushing, really good spacing, constant movement (ball & player). Like Creighton, they do a ton of smart stuff offensively. Very impressive. I bet they’re a really difficult scout.

Solo and Castle are obviously playing significant minutes with both having been starters.

Ross and Stewart have seen some court time but still developing. Singare has always been thought of as being a project. He seen some spot minutes. Now that we are out of the preseason gauntlet and into the big east, I would expect that all three of them will see more minutes.

NIL coupled with the portal has changed the game of basketball. In my opinion it's not a change for the better. I've always enjoyed watching kids develop over four years. Seton has had success with that over the years. That seems to be becoming a thing of the past as college basketball has entered into a period of de facto free agency. On the other hand, Samson Johnson is a case study on the benefit of biding your time with a program.

So, to answer your question, I have no idea what will happen at the end of the season, but right now I am not hearing any rumblings that anyone is unhappy.
