They haven't lost since, winning 9 consecutive games and hammering everyone in their conference. One tight game with Evansville, likely the best win of the bunch. Nothing too notable, but nevertheless doing their thing.
They're up 14-5, 8-0 and KenPom #16, RPI #41.

They lost to Iowa State on the road (a game ISU was favored in) and blasted Baylor in Waco. They're a deserving #1. Just because you lose a conference road game to a team you're supposed to lose to doesn't mean you should drop. This is what I've always hated about rankings. Glad the voters got it right for once.
