It appears articles of impeachment for the outgoing President Donald J. Trump could be introduced today. This trial will go well into President Elect Joseph Robinette Biden's first 100 days. It appears our elected officials are more worried about putting their attention on impeaching and convicting the outgoing President rather than focusing on the vaccine distribution and getting us out of this once in a century Pandemic. Good to know!

The issue for these people is Trump is more dangerous to them as an ordinary citizen than he is as a President. Destroy him in every way and beat him to a pulp so nobody cares what he has to say after his term is over.
How can you have a trial to remove a president when he is no longer president.That detail can be ignored apparently when you need vengeance.Apparently they forgot the Lord saying “..vengeance is mine “.If uncle Joe was smart he would tell Nancy and chuck to knock off and focus on his agenda not Trump.

If the next ten days are without incident, then I agree with that.
I do think there should be some punishment for Trumps actions but I do not think Impeachment is the answer especially since there is so little time left in his term. Having the proceeding continue after he is out of office makes no sense to me. I do worry about what he might do in the next two weeks but other than him resigning or having the 25th amendment invoked I'm not sure there is an easy solution. Neither is likely however. Possibly a censure by congress is the best option at this point and hope he does nothing crazy. For our nation the best thing would be for Trump to just fade into the background as Nixon did after his removal.
