Not sure I agree at this time. This is not a projection but a play to date and the conference right now is just a hot mess.

That's very reasonable. That's why I noted that they have the potential to move up.

But for now record must matter, at least a little.

Just understand everyone. There are a ton of teams in the conference playing as badly or worse than we are.

Creighton and UConn look like heavyweights. Xavier has played a brutal schedule in the last 1-2 weeks but hasn't busted out with a huge win (0-3 vs. Indiana, Duke, Gonzaga). St. John's and Marquette could be in the mix for the tourney. Everyone else isn't good. Bad year for the league after the top 2/3 teams.
