1. Connecticut 18-2
C'mon, did you expect anyone else?

2. Creighton 16-5
Winning 7 of 8 has them a hair over Marquette.

3. Marquette 15-5
All over the map recently. Lose to SHU and Butler and then win your next 4.

4. St. John's 13-7
Since the destruction by the Hall playing much better.

5. Providence 14-6
3 in a row, but the schedule will soon toughen.

6. Butler 14-7
Same as Providence. I expect them to drop.

7. Seton Hall 13-8
Gotta play the cards you're dealt. But at full strength can play against anyone but UConn.

8. Villanova 11-9
Most overrated team in the conference. Have lost last 4.

9. Xavier 10-10
Say what? Lost by 43 point last game.

10 Georgetown 8-12
Well, at least Cooley got out of Providence alive.

11. DePaul 3-17
0-20?

You can’t give UConn enough credit nor sing their praise too much. Nice to be one of their losses.

If we take care of business against DePaul and Gtown I think we have a good chance of beating Nova on the road .

How can you say that at full strength we can play with anybody except UConn when we beat UConn? With a healthy Kadary, I’d put us at #4 with the ability to beat anybody on any given night. Without Kadary, I put as at #9 with the possibility of losing to both Georgetown and even DePaul. I’m worried about tomorrow night if Kadary doesn’t suit up.

I put us above Nova and tied with Providence and St. John's. Eternal Optimist !!!

Just an opinion and the way UConn is playing right now and with Clingan healthy I don't see us matching up well.

Against anyone else I would not see a no doubt about it loss on a neutral court. In fact I would think we would have a good chance to beat any other opponent.
Fair. Hope we make it there to see it!

1 - UCONN - Still King of the Hill

2 - Creighton
3 - Marquette
4 - Seton Hall - Need Kadary back to hold this spot

None below this are really legitimate
5 - St. John's
6 - Xavier
7 - Butler
8 - Villanova - Falling again, Neptune experiment should be over
9 - Providence
10 - Georgetown
11 - DePaul

Interesting. PC at #9 honestly seems a little crazy to me given the mediocrity in the middle of this league.

They are not good. They have won 3 straight against DePaul, Seton Hall w/o Kadary, and struggled with Georgetown at home. after losing 4 straight.

I get that, but 13-7 (5-4) isn't bad. Their schedule turns more difficult now, so maybe they lose three or four in a row coming up.

Remember we won with no Clingan (3 fouls) early in the 2nd half and they were ready to pound it down low, no doubt. Also with Ball and Castle slowly coming on, they are beginning to become more complete come March.

I'd love to see Isaiah and Sanders and a bench big start to come on but not looking great. Our starting 5 plus 1 or 2 may be able to hold it down into March.

May not be bad but still isn't as good as others. Heck, 16 days ago they got obliterated by Xavier at home. Only beat Seton Hall because no Kadary and struggled with Georgetown at home.

Clingan was going to bench with fouls.

I'm actually kind of with you on this. We've lost two games this year and one of which was to Seton Hall, decisively. That doesn't change until we meet again in March in Connecticut.

That said, Dan is right that we are playing our best basketball of the year right now.

Do I expect to beat you guys in CT? No, not at all. But I would love to see Kadary get healthy and find out.

Assuming we don’t win up there, I would then love to see a rubber match at MSG for the Big East title. Talk about must-see tv!

Yes, I’m aware of Clingan. It’s not like we haven’t beaten UConn in Newark recently or anything.

Coleman looks a lot more confident out there. These last two starts (and possibly more) will pay off going forward. Not sure we can expect anything out of Sanders. He looks rattled every time he touches the ball. I hope he can figure it out because we sorely need some life off the bench.

1) UConn

2)Creighton
3)Marquette

4) Seton Hall/SJU. With Richmond Hall has a slight edge. These two teams look headed to a 4/5 game at 2:30pm at MSG
6) Villanova they are in trouble But?
7)) Xavier. Lots of tough games
8) Providence. They won't keep escaping and tough schedule
9) Butler tough out
10) Gtown
11) DePaul

Forget the standings, UConn looks to be the best team in the league by a lot.

They've won eight straight by an average margin of 14.5. Take out the whipping of Xavier and the first seven were by an average margin of just under 10 1/2.

Our win against them was impressive. That said, I'm not sure we'd win more than once more if we played them 10 times.
