Dan McHale initially worked very hard to get Reischel and was devastated when SHU came in third in a three horse race.
The day Reischel was going to choose between SHU, Rice and Penn State the Trove broke the news early in the morning that the player had chosen Penn State. About an hour or so later I updated that info that Reischel who had called the Penn State coach with his commitment changed his mind and then picked Rice.
That info was confirmed the next day in interviews with the player.
Clearly this young man has a hard time knowing what he wants to do and where he wants to do it as he has now transferred from Rice to Rhode Island to Eastern Kentucky.
A long and winding road that finally has him and McHale united as player and coach.

This is the problem with SHU. We are like the desperate schoolboy going after the girl.
Assistants can only open the door and bring a recruit to the table. Willard is a horrendous closer.
