Well said Tom. She wasn't afraid to make public things that people tried to hide, for instance sharing her diagnosis and treatment breast cancer which helped raise awareness for women. Also how she confronted her alcohol and pain med abuse and turned it into a positive with creation of the Betty Ford Clinic. May she rest in peace.
