Perspective in presidential elections, Georgia has gone Blue only three times since 1976, Carter in 76, Carter in 80, Clinton in 92

Come on man! The cheating is out of control. What a shame.. Where is the integrity in this country?

So they only cheat in a couple states? Make sure we count every vote in Arizona because stopping is cheating, no?

I don’t know what’s worse, the clown show at the top or the blind followers who see him as a demigod.

I hope there is a strong rise of some of these good up and coming republicans into 2024. Biden will be here for 1 term and hope that the GOP learns from their failed experiment.

Best thing for this country was Georgia flip to Biden. Need Trump to flip Arizona and win the rest. 269-269. House selects Biden. Senate selects Pence. Pelosi sets record for how quickly she reverses course on the idea of removing a president for mental impairment reasons.

Worst of all is the lack of trust in the political class and MSM that got him elected in the first place.

The Republicans have a lot of learning to do. Like him or hate him, Trump created enthusiasm as someone not scared to fight the system. Trump brought Latin voters over to the Republican Party. Republicans who didn't feel they got a fair shake with the MSM, had someone fighting the media. There's going to be a needle to thread to be less of a gavone, all while fighting harder than Trump against the establishment in order not to lose that enthusiasm. These up and coming Republicans have to prove to the American people they up for the fight. I believe the first big fight for these people is going to be taking on social media.

No one here is pretending Trump is a saint in any way. He's probably been corrupt his entire life. For all we know he could have paid off politicians many times in his career. To believe our institutions are honest and just is a joke. There's big time corruption on the democrat side. There's big time corruption on the republican side. When I see the American Diabetes Association promoting on their website foods that cause diabetes and drug sales, and our political class does nothing about it, should I be confident that they will run a fair election if they are willing to increase disease on the public for money? Or should I believe both sides are going to bend, stretch and even break rules to win. Maybe Trump's wrong and our election process is fair. If he brings a claim that is real, the American people have the right to know the truth.

i agree. but this narrative that biden is winning because the dems have cheated is laughable. for all we know it wasnt a blowout because republicans are the ones cheating. narrative should go both way.

Exactly. But let’s get to the bottom to see if there is any cheating on either side. Let’s have a legit audit. Both sides should want all legal ballots counted. If we just want all ballots counted would We count Putin’s ballot? It’s on our politicians to prove to us the American people all things were done fairly, especially in cities that have a history of weird things happening, whether those weird things lean left or right. It’s not on us to just accept that because we are the United States of America that everything is clean. We’re supposed to trust the same people who have a slush fund of American taxpayer money for sexual harassment? If the sitting American president can’t get the system to show transparency for him, how much of this government is a government of the people, for the people by the people? Or is there a ruling class and the rest of us?

If you distrust our institutions then what would make you believe in any investigation of this election? If they find no vast voter fraud, your belief will be that how can you trust this investigation. What Trump has done is to have vast amount of the American people distrust our institutions. Now, while our institutions may be imperfect, it is the best that we humans have accomplished. In the end, there has been no proof of fraud shown by Trump. Thus, why is there any doubt then to the election results?

Have you ever met someone who you severly distrusted, but as time went on they've proved themselves to be someone to trust. That's all I'm asking for. Prove themselves worthy of the trust of the American people. The honest truth is if the institutions are looking at themselves honestly, they are the reason Trump got elected. The American people have no faith in them. Do they want give us reason to have faith in them? Or do they not care?

For 4 years I've listened to Adam Schiff tell America he had proof of Russia collusion. For 4 years people bought into it without seeing a damn thing. Trump said he had proof last night of election fraud. People freaked out within 4 minutes. Absolutely comical that news networks say Trump has no basis of election fraud, yet they've run stories for 4 years without any real basis of collusion other than the words of Schiff without ever asking to see the evidence.

I think the issue is that you weren't raising these trust issues in 2016, and probably wouldn't in 2020 if Trump won.

There is/was evidence of collusion. Trump's campaign manager was sharing their internal poling data with Russia. That's not fake. There was not sufficient evidence of conspiracy within that though. Can't deny that it happened though. Also the wikileaks stuff is collusion, though it is entirely plausible that the campaign didn't realize that wikileaks was getting the e-mails from Russian hackers.

In any case... Trump came out gaslighting with nonsense which most of which was already debunked. That is why people freaked out.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Trump believed he won the popular vote in 2016. Claims of ridiculous cheating going on in 2016 was always there. You can win and still think the other team cheated. Heck the Astros lost the World Series last year. Can you imagine if we concluded because the Astros lost, they didn't cheat.

Mueller report showed nothing of real value. If it did Pelosi would've impeached him as soon as the report came out. Hillary did far worse with Steele Dossier. More reason to have great trust in our political class.

He did nothing different than Schiff did for 2 years. He made an accusation and has to back it up. Schiff didn't. We'll see if Trump can. Why is everyone so quick to dismiss it. Why not challenge the president and dare him to prove it. That's how our country works. If he can prove it, kudos to him. If he can't, move over for Biden.

Just entirely wrong there. This is in the report. In my opinion, probably the most damming part.

Separately, on August 2, 2016, Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort met in New York City with his long-time business associate Konstantin Kilimnik, who the FBI assesses to have ties to Russian intelligence. Kilimnik requested the meeting to deliver in person a peace plan for Ukraine that Manafort acknowledged to the Special Counsel's Office was a "backdoor" way for Russia to control part of eastern Ukraine; both men believed the plan would require candidate Trump's assent to succeed (were he to be elected President). They also discussed the status of the Trump Campaign and Manafort's strategy for winning Democratic votes in Midwestern states. Months before that meeting, Manafort had caused internal polling data to be shared with Kilimnik, and the sharing continued for some period of time after their August meeting.

Gotta believe if that's the bar for collusion, I think we'd all be naive enough to think someone in a campaign isn't having a discussion with a foreign national. Heck even the slightly more than left leaning Washington Post said Clinton campaign, DNC paid for the Steele Dossier. I'm sure there was never a meeting to pay for it. they just did it on their own. Someone woke up some morning and just said lets throw money over here for no good reason and everyone agreed.

but I’ll agree this is the stuff that needs to get taken out politics on all sides.

Smh...to be clear. Russia was the ones targeting our election. Manafort shares internal polling data with the people who are targeting US voters... And you think that’s remotely close to being similar to the DNC paying a US company for opposition research, which is entirely legal?

SMH..Do you really think only one country is targeting our elections?

Never said that, but you’ve just gone from “there was no collusion” to “so what?” fairly quickly.
And you quickly backed off nobody was complaining in 2016. What’s your point? Just because people meet doesn’t mean collusion. There wasn’t necessarily here’s what I need from Russia to win. Just like when Obama got caught on a hot mic. Just because he said something stupid on a hot mic doesn’t mean he didn’t anything wrong at the end of the day. Give me actions not words.

Kind of like when Bill Clinton just decided to go visit AG Lynch on a tarmac in Phoenix in the middle of an investigation about his wife.

Felt he needed to say hello and talk about his grandkids with someone he had no previous social relationship with. When some of Lynch staff try to breakup the meeting her security staff would not allow them on the plane?

Interesting to me, maybe they talked about case, maybe they didn’t, guess we will never know, but optics just don’t seem right to me.

No question it was wrong. Clinton should not have approached her. The optics are bad and there is little doubt in my mind that he was trying to influence the investigation. But, you can’t ignore the fact pattern that Lynch was concerned over the meeting and had someone contact the ethics office the next day to see if a recusal is recommended because of the meeting exactly as she should have.
