Remember, I'm paraphrasing to save time but the comments are translatable.
It's still going on but I'll start with Willard.
Great opportunity to play against a high quality team with to great individual players in Bentil and Dunn.
Dunn is even a better defender than last year. He doesn't foul meaning he's on the court for most of the game. Very physical and disruptive on that side of the ball.
Also shooting better meaning you can't play him soft or go inside picks defending him.
Still penetrates near at will.
Good to have a week off. Team can concentrate on their individual games without worrying about the opposition. Can also get back to the gym to lift, work on their bodies, concentrate on fundamentals and relax.
Commented on the Providence/Creighton game calling it old school Big East BB dominated by two coaches taking the opposition out of what they wanted to do offensively.
Complimented Dunn for doing a great job on Watson who he noted gave the Hall fits in their last game.
Thinks the team is right where he expected them to be at this point in the season.
Complimented Gordon for the maturity he is bringing on and off the court to a young team. Noted he's a great defender. And on offense stated that he penetrates creating opportunities to score as well as having a knack for creating fouls on the opposition.
Only got three question (one by me) so the call was a short one.
Lunch time next and then I'll come back with comments from the other coaches.
