Always going to have outliers with these polls that make no sense.
Us being picked 3rd in many is a tribute to the consistency over the past 5 years. Nice to see.

I think it speaks to the wide open nature of the league after Villanova and Creighton. While I personally think Seton Hall and UConn are definitively the third and fourth best teams in the league, I can understand that someone might consider Marquette and even Providence alongside them. I'm less convinced that Butler is at the same level as any of those six teams.

I guess I'm in the minority on this, but I find all these polls are meaningless. They have no effect on the games and they are not worth arguing about. Can't wait til we start seeing actual games.

Seton Hall has an entirely new dynamic this year. But if comes together quickly we can challenge for the top, IMO. No way of knowing where that process is given the insanity of this offseason, so I'd probably have us 3-4 as well.
