7 and 11 in conf at best. No giant slide at the end just balanced losing throughout. Too many question marks that never tend to break in our favor

6-12 in Conference with 2 wins against DePaul; 2 wins against Creighton; and single wins against PC and SJU. I don't see us beating Nova, GT, Butler, Marquette or Xavier

Experts are saying we are a seventh place team so 7-11 or 8-10 smells right. Achilles heel: not enough shooters and bench is a big question mark. Will surprise a couple, but FG and FT% will cost more games. Also if IW gets in any kind of foul trouble, that will be a huge challenge since he will be running the show.

I predicted we'd finish in 7th place so I'll say we finish 7-11. Razor thin margin for error in a couple spots where if things break the wrong way, it could be worse.

Winning record, we shock the world.

Honestly - if we go 10-8 or better, it will be amazing, since we've not crested that side of the ledger in a LONG LONG TIME.

I do not know what I think about a prediction - and true to my vow to stay positive, I think I'll just NOT make a prediction. o_O

So what you're saying is the SH mens bball program doesn't pass the smell test. Some might say it stinks. Want to watch the OOC games first to see the new and improved version before passing judgment on Ws & Ls.

8-10 Big East Record Unless someone surprises big time at the PF position, this is the best record I can see hapening.

I'm good with a hope, wait and see approach. Again - not a negative position - just getting into my seat on the Pirate ship, third galley deck below the main deck.

6-12 at best. We will lose games because of:
Coaching
too many players who can play D and rebound but not enough who can score.
foul shooting
starting games/2nd halves flat and not good enough to fight back to V's

Based on last year I would expect more than 2 blowout losses no? I feel like the last 8 games were losses of 20... at least it felt like that lol

Late last year was bad... I don't remember quite when it happened... But it got to the point where the fans no longer cared if we were leading or behind or by how many points... Because most were resigned to the eventual loss.
