Georgetown has been hot garbage for almost 15 years and they get 4 Fox National games to our zero.
More like an extremely long tail on the John Thompson effect.
They're still Georgetown. We all know how helpful to the league it would be if they get their stuff together.
I'm surprised no one commented about St. John's. Apparently Pitino is must see TV.

From a marketing standpoint St John Georgetown is the old Big East. Now that they both have solid coaches of course the league is going to market them.
UConn just won the title
Xavier, Marquette and Creighton are both supposed to have good teams this year and they spend more then most schools on Basketball . Nova i think is on a downward trend but has carried the league so they are in this group as well .
Not sure why Providence and Butler get the not over us but I would group us in with them.
DePaul is at the bottom of the bunch but I think they invest a lot in basketball as well.
If you look at it from brand expectations and money invested it lines up about right.
For the last 10 years we have exceeded expectations and I hope we continue to due so The school needs to pay the new facility bills and then try to make noise with some on paper high recruits. Until then fight to stay relevant is a win to me.
