- Winners of back-to-back games, the Seton Hall men's basketball team will begin a key stretch of three-consecutive contests against teams currently ranked in the AP Top 25 starting with No. 25 Xavier on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on FS1.
- Seton Hall is currently 35th in the NET and 35th in KenPom.
- Seton Hall is 6-6 this season against Quad 1 and Quad 2 competition.
- Sophomore Kadary Richmond (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after averaging 13.0 points, 7.0 assists and 5.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week.
- Seton Hall has gotten some if its defensive mojo back recently as its allowed only 63.7 points per contest over the last three games and it has allowed its last two opponents to shoot 25.6 percent (12-of-47) from three-point range.
- Nationally, the Pirates rank 12th in blocked shots (5.7 bpg), 34th in field goal percentage defense (39.9 pct) and 20th in rebounding (40 rpg).
- The Pirates are 8-2 at Prudential Center this season and 152-69 all-time (.686).
- Against BIG EAST competition, the Pirates are 72-58 all-time at the Prudential Center and 2-2 this season.
- February has been a good month for the Pirates in recent years as they've gone 29-17 since 2015-16 in the calendar's second month.
- The Hall is 2-3 this season against ranked opponents with wins at No. 4 Michigan and against No. 7 Texas at Prudential Center.
- Since starting 3-6 in BIG EAST play, Seton Hall has won its last two games to bring its league record to 5-6.

- Graduate student Ike Obiagu (Abuja, Nigeria) has registered a block in 30 consecutive games going back to last season, the longest active streak in the country, and leads the BIG EAST and ranks fourth nationally with 3.6 blocks per game.
- Handling point guard responsibilities over the last two weeks, Richmond ranks fourth in the BIG EAST with 4.5 assists per game and second with 2.2 steals per contest in conference games.
