Lunardi's update has us as an 11 seed play in game, winner vs Witchita State in Brooklyn. Like the location, but wouldn't want to see the Shockers again
yep, sorry I read your OP wrong. What i meant to say was he has us vs California in a play in game...winner of that game would play wsu
With Wichita State, thats what happens when you have an established program, you get the benefit of the doubt sometimes. They have only lost 2 games all year when both Baker and Van Vleet have played. I personally have no problem with them being ranked. If we handle February things will work out. But there is no reason for WSU or St Marys to be ranked if we get almost no votes.
They have played two good teams , and lost to one, who is not getting any consideration. I get the rep thing. And I love their program. But they have beaten one decent team. Saw them play Evansville yesterday, who I think was 18-4, and they (Evansville ) were not too impressive. With Wichita State, thats what happens when you have an established program, you get the benefit of the doubt sometimes. Protect the home court the rest of the way. Part of that is on us to make the Rock electric and intimidating. Win @ SJU and @Depaul and we will be rewarded with a very nice seed.Forget about all the bracketology stuff. We win out our home stand and next week they write that the upper echelon of the league is 4 teams with Shu squarely in it.
Agreed. The team playing hard. The fans need to come out and be the sixth man. My goal is to be at every home game. So far so good ( and 4 away games with 2 in books). Get word out. All fans need to show up at the Rock.Protect the home court the rest of the way. Part of that is on us to make the Rock electric and intimidating.
