,they are now 5-6 . For a time there ,thought they would have a tough time making the NCAA . But Xavier, Villanova are in , Just can't take anything for granted , Still comes down to Georgetown, Seton Hall, Butler,Providence ,Creighton. .The NCAA will probably take 6 Big East teams not 7 .

Nothing new here , Hall should win the St John's and DePaul . And at least 2 other Big East teams

the selection group will take however many big east teams are worthy for at large bids, really we go through this every year, a conf is not married to a number, could be 4, 5, 6

Big east is getting 4, maybe 5 teams this year. I love the big east, but it's not a 6 or 7 bid league this yr.

flawed assumption, remember 2 at large bids extra are really on the line now that smu, ville not avail

I'm not basing it off how many teams the league deserves, but rather which teams have a shot

Nova - in
Xavier - in
PC - in

Then it is dicey
SHU - win tonight and you have a great shot

Who else?

Butler? I could else's them making it if they continue to improve on their league record. But they are still very questionable
Gtown? Loss tonight and I think they are done
Marquette? Horrible RPI
Creighton? RPI issues

That's 3 teams, a fourth with a good shot, and the others are all in real trouble. I just hope one of the others makes it. No way 2 or 3 of that bottom team are making it.

pc now 4 losses in league at home and may go from 11 to out of ap poll, they still have conf work to do

you only looking at this league look at other at large potentials among the other high majors

one conf that worries me is the top 4 of the a 10 looking very tournament worthy

Hey, I hope I'm wrong. I just can't see an 8-10 butler team being invited. And I don't think Marquette and Creighton are serious contenders. Gtown's loss to uconn was such a back breaker too.

And that just to get a 5th bid. Never mind what has to happen to get a 6th or 7th.

I think if we do get a 5th bid, it will be one from the group of butler, Marquette, gtown or Creighton who goes on a run to Saturday night in the conference tourney.

Butler is 5-6 but 4 of those wins against St. John's & DePaul. However, a few more BE wins & they are in because of their out of conference schedule. Same with Gtown. They both get the benefit of the doubt for playing such a touch non conf schedule

do you have metrics on the gtown ooc, they had terrible ooc losses

If G.T. loses tonight, they are good as out and if we win, we have a very good chance.
