1. This was one of the worst officiated games I have ever seen. I am not exaggerating. I thought at times fans at the game were going to charge the court and cause bodily harm.

2. Jimmy Salmon and MTE are the coaches for Immaculate.

3. MTE sits on the bench and says nothing. Salmon is a crazed lunatic who is absolutely out of his mind. He deserved at least 10 T's (got none). I have never seen a coach act like that in a game. And I say that after watching Mergin Sina coach often.

3. Carey is very good but for some reason I expected better. Shiffy with a good handle but not real athletic. He's small and slight of frame.

Don't get me wrong he's good, but my expectations were he would be a stud. That's he's not. Plus he in no way looks like a pg. Top 100 or so.

4. Brodie got screwed by the zebra's big time. Two absolutely phantom fouls where he did nothing. No contact, nothing. It was like he's the biggest guy on the team so if he's in the middle of the action the whistle had to be blown.

A third foul was also very questionable. The other two? Minimum contact but a fair whistle.

Probably played only 5-6 minutes before fouling out.

In the first half two quick whistles, one ridiculous earned him a seat on the bench after playing only 30 seconds.

5. One of the most exciting games I have seen at this level in more years than I can imagine. East Side trailed most of the game but prevailed in O/T.

6. THis game was played about as fast as any I have seen this year and that includes college ball. The East Side guards are an absolute blur and play for the most part under control. What hurts them is they are both very small.

Now to the part your are all waiting for. And remember, I only saw Brodie play about 5-6 minutes.

Brodie looks ti be a legit 6-8 or so. Harty9 and I sat next to his dad and he told us his son was 6-10 265. The 265 looked legit. The height did not.

Brodie is a very big boy who will lose 20 pounds at the Hall and will be a specimen. He's got very big shoulder and for a HS kid he has a very good body. But at the next level he needs to trim the body. Especially the lower part.

That said he runs the floor very well for a big man. Doesn't in any way look like a stiff. The one weakness I saw is that he is not explosive. More in the Angel Delgado mode (with better hops) who will depend more on his strength than agility.

The play of the game to me regarding Brodie was he actually caught up from behind a very quick Immaculate player who was streaking to the basket for a layup and smacked the shot off the backboard. I didn't think he had a prayer to catch up to him.

On offense he has good footwork and seems to be a solid passer as he did not force anything when he faced double and triple teaming.

It was very hard for him to move being surrounding bu three players (one bigger than him) yet he looked very fluid in the post. In fact he has a beautiful spin move the one time he has single coverage against a 6-10 thin but atlete defender for a gorgeous layup that was whistled for a walk. The ref who called the walk is probably the only person on the planet who saw the steps.

Bottom line. He needs work on defense and positioning. Has to be more aggressive on that side of the court and must want the rebound more. But I was happy with what I saw.

He's probably already better than Anthony and with work I can see him giving us 5-6 quality minutes next season.

I would rate him a high 3 star player right now with the ability to bump that up a star with hard work.

I am going to watch him again tomorrow in the ECT final. Hopefully he's stay on the court fr a longer period of time.
