I have to think this year is the bottoming out - I mean, it can't really get worse for them, can it, assuming Sanders doesn't transfer? So I think they'll start the slow crawl back next season. They won't be this bad forever, although they'll never be great, so enjoy it now. I always figured the move to the Big Ten would be a bad thing for their MBB program, given its invisibility in this area, but the process was accelerated by external factors.

Right now the Sleeping Giant is having a nightmare! And, for the record, it hasn't gotten better for the last 25+ years and the future certainly doesn't look too bright.
