Carino: Three keys for Seton Hall at No. 5 Xavier

My excuse alarm is starting to go off. First Willard complaining about how hard his schedule is in the post-game presser. Now Jerry complaining about how we are walking into a Hornet's nest and winds are blowing against us.

Xavier losing their last game doesn't mean anything. They weren't going to be looking past us no matter what happened against Georgetown. SHU needs to come out like gangbusters and instead of "taking the initial punch", lead with their fists. Preferably those fists are open and clutching a basketball being slammed down through a net by one Desi Rodriguez.

3. Share the ball in crunch time. When you have four players who can beat a defense, why resort to hero ball instead of running sets? If this mindset clicks in, the Pirates will be one tough out. This is a recording.

Truer words have never been spoken.
