Think this went a bit under the radar around here, but what a game! He's been a really consistent player for us this year and is just all over the court.

He had a quiet 17. In the first half, when IW went down, Carrington struggled bringing the ball up. I believe he turned it over twice in a row. Had a hell of a 2nd half tho. 17, 10, & 5 WOW!

Played good D for most of the game unlike some of his teammates. I know Isaiah Whitehead gets a lot of credit for playing defense and he might be the more spectacular starting guard of the two with his ability to block shots but as good as IW is I think Carrington might be the better defender.

Regardless, our three headed guard rotation are all excellent when the opponent has the ball and when was the last time we could say that?

that Providence BET game might have been the angriest I've ever gotten at an actual SHU game. What a complete disaster that became for us down the stretch. We were up around 30 at one point correct? I actually walked out way before it ended b/c I was so disgusted with our defense and I couldn't watch anymore.

Blowing the Big East Tournament game against Villanova in 2004 had me much angrier, but that game against Providence wasn't fun...

That was the epitome of Seton Hall basketball. Up by 30, down by 30, we were going to make it a game in the final minutes.

I agree that Carrington's play has been under the radar and under reported.. He has been great!
I disagree, however, that recognition of IW's defense has overshadowed this. If anything,IW's superlative defense has been lost in the discussion regarding his passing vs his shooting. His consistent defense has been outstanding!
The calling card of this team's success so far has been defense: Whitehead; Carrington; Delgado; Sanogo; Gordon; and sometimes Desi have all been strong defensively and that makes up for a lot of things like inconsistent field goal shooting and shaky foul shooting. Go Pirates!
