Center court view from charleston

This was not a good game to watch..

1. Player 2 from lbs killed us but we never seemed to wake up to the fact and just kept leaving him open

2. The point guard kept attacking Carrington on his left side and just kept blowing past him.

3. We missed a critical pair of free throws with 4 minutes to go. Both shots of two..not even a 1 n1

4.. At the point of the last foul shot by lbs our best rebounder is planted on the bench and I am seaming like a crazy man to put him in.

5. We got beat all night by speed on the first step. They were much faster than us particularly at the ford position.

6. I don't understand how you attack out of a weave the way we are playing it. It just degenerates into 1 on 1 or more often 1 on 2 coming off the dribble.

7. Is is a very good player...Gordon is our best point guard.. Carrington is not a great jump shooter.. IW doesn't know what he wants to be when he grows up but he is a scorer..turnover machine and point guard in that sequence..not good for our future right now.

Not sure how many turnovers we had but a lot were forced and our own set of mistakes.

7. Had to say it but we are not a very good man to man defensivev team..

8. Offensive schemes look very confused..run freelance.. not enough of a pattern or set ..not sure what we are trying to accomplish..

Talent is there but Gordon ish and Delgado along with IW have to play .. rest is open by committee.


Watching virginia and Bradley right now and 8 don't see us beating either one of these teams..

The only hope to beat Virginia or Bradley will be if the loser is too tired and dejected to be ready for Hall tomorrow, with the short turnaround time.

Quiet resolve..never really had the feeling that we we re going to win easily..k8nd of you don't really believe right now..you want to but there is something lacking that is tough to put a finger on..

Lot if games left...no idea how this will play out...

This is another game lost to too many turnovers and missed foul shots...fix those items and the talent will play out on the right side..start with the turnover issue.. mystifying in that a team led by a point guard kw with a key staff member she being a great point guard and the turnover message just doesn't seem to get thru to them..
