Chasson Randle, Stanford & the NIT final

I really would have liked to see what Randle could have done in the NCAA's. Finished with 25 points in tonight excellent OT NIT win over Miami. Dawkins is clearly the undisputed modern day king of the NIT. They had the lead most of the game, Miami fought back to take it late, then it went down to the last shot in OT. Sheldon McLellan for Miami is really good.

Randle hit plenty of big shots as usual, and is now Stanford's all-time points leader, and 3rd all time in the PAC-12. Don McLean from UCLA is #1? He's a bit before my time, someone tell me about his game...i literally had never heard of him before they put the blurb up tonight.

Nice appetizer for Saturday's big time showdowns.

Don McLean used to deliver newspapers back in the late 50's, he wrote about the morning of Feb 4, 1959 in a song too. Oops, wrong Don McLean, the UCLA star played from 1988-1992 and was in the NBA for almost 10 years.
