+1. Wish him the best. The question is did SHU really do what's best for Cher? It was pretty obvious in the minutes that he played that he was not a D1 basketball player. Not sure what the kid wanted, but why was he recruited in the first place to transfer? three colleges in three years. We always point the finger at kids for not being able to make up their minds, but this seems more of a case where a kid was jerked around.Wish him the best both athletically and academically.

Maybe, just maybe, he couldn't make it at this level and could not be "developed". It was worth a shot since you can't develop size, just how to use it and he had the size. At least he's going to be able to finish his career and get a degree so he will be rewarded for his efforts on and off the court. From what I understand, he was a solid citizen and good teammate.We definitely recruited over him, rather than developed him. Not very ethical. But so much pressure is put on coaches to succeed that with their backs to the wall, they may resort to moves like this. Pitino does this sort of thing, as do other big time coaches.
