I think you named the key issues he had. For me I voted for him but was greatly disappointed. One of his biggest victories was establishing a law that fully funded the teacher's pension funds and also at the same time giving towns more tools to control property taxes by being able to share services and slow the runaway costs of the school systems. Then he defeated his own law to fund the teacher's pensions going back on his word. He also acted like a bully on many occasions. He tried to do some good in a very tough state to manage with runaway taxes but then went back on some of his policies to set himself up to run for President. He effectively compromised some of his principles and then NJ became his third priority. He let us down but I'd argue he did more for NJ than Murphy has so far but that doesn't make his time here good IMO and I was a strong supporter. He was disappointing in the end and could have done so much more for NJ and I think the national electorate also saw that. He also wimped out when going against Trump which I thought was a major flaw in his run for President. In the end a lot of bluster and he simply did not follow through even though he established allies in both parties that could get things done. So much promise and disappointment for me in the end.I don't follow politics closely. In truth, I hardly follow it at all. My question is: How did Christie fall from grace politically so dramatically: 1. Bridgegate; 2. Acting like a bully; 3. Beach chair photo and scandal.
