NEW YORK - Freshman Isaiah Coleman (Fredericksburg, Va.) has been named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week and senior Al-Amir Dawes (Newark, N.J.) has has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced Monday.

Coleman becomes the first Pirate to win multiple BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors since 2014-15, when Khadeen Carrington, Angel Delgado and Isaiah Whitehead each won the honor more than once.

Coleman was once again a difference maker off the bench for the Pirates, scoring 11 points in the 88-75 win over Northeastern on Wednesday night. Coleman played 24 minutes on the night, shooting 4-of-6 from the field and picking up three steals.

Dawes lands on the honor roll after a stellar performance against the Huskies last week. The senior dropped a career-high 25 points to go with five rebounds and five assists as part of the 13-point victory for the Pirates. Dawes also connected on four 3-pointers, improving his team's record to 30-14 all-time when he knocks down three or more triples.

The Pirates head back on the road this Tuesday night to face No. 6 Baylor at 9 p.m. on ESPN2 in the BIG EAST-Big 12 Battle. Following that comes the latest installment of the Garden State Hardwood Classic as the Pirates will host Rutgers on Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. on FS1. Both games will be broadcast on the Seton Hall Pirates Basketball Radio Network on the SHU Pirates Mobile App, SHUPirates.com, Varsity Network, SiriusXM and the SiriusXM app.
