Listening to Coach Sanders going to Colorado and was surprised to hear that they also had a NIL problem. But with Sanders going there they are establishing a Collective and putting a lot of focus there

1. Didn’t we just lose a recruit to Colorado?

2. Why don’t we have a collective?

Trove readers are aware that the process is in the formative stages. Hopefully we'll have some info here by the end of the month.

Then let's see if the fanbase will support this all so important initiative.

2. Why don’t we have a collective?
Remember collectives are formed by fans so the the only people that can answer that question are the people reading this board. Go on any collectives website and they all have the same disclaimer “We have no affiliation with XYZ University. We are a separate nonprofit entity.”

So to answer your question you can just ask yourself “why didn’t I form a collective?” And that reason(s) probably holds true for most other fans.

Personally I believe there are a couple reasons.

(1) We have an 8% giving rate which is last in the BigEast. It’s not surprising that the alumni base that gives back the least to their alma mater didn’t take it upon themselves to form a fundraiser for their school.

(2) the administration has done a poor job communicating the importance of NIL in today’s landscape.

The average fan doesn’t know that without a collective Seton Hall cannot compete at the high major level (or high mid-major level like the A10).
