I have not learned all the details yet of the raid on Obama's hidaway.... but a couple things are certain. Our Navy Seals are maginificant and a ton of credit needs to go to Pres Obama for making the gutsy call to go in after him.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the families of those who lost loved ones on 9/11 and in the aftermath that followed. Also remembering all those who remain in harms way.

Excellent job, great news. He deserved to die like he did, not be brought to trial.

Job well done by all involved from the Navy Seals to the CIA to Commander-in-Chief Obama.

Much credit here is due to the President. It was a gutsy call to go into a foreign country on this mission. Despite the credit given to the Pakistani's in Obamas's speech, they were kept in the dark on this and for good reason. And I really believe that the orders were "shoot to kill". We did not need a circus like trial nor terrorist threats and actions to delay the trial or potential hostage situations to free the mass musderer.

This is the same administration that showed you a totally fraudulent birth certificate last week .

What proof do you have that there was an assasination of Bin Laden Sunday ?

None really .

Any photo's of the dead Bin Laden ? Oh , the body was dumped at sea , to prevent his fans from mourning him .

A corrupt government that will initiate wars against virtually defenseless countries with non stop false flag incidents is very much capable of claiming heroic feats to distract you and gain positive attention .

Can you say " weapons of mass destruction " , "Gulf of Tonkin " attack .

Just two recent examples to refresh your memory , but you can go all the way back to the Spanish - American war and start from there for more .

Great job by the Seals and the entire Govt including Obama.

I saw a documentary on this a few years ago and a retired General described how the attack had to go for Osama to make sure we got him and he described it to a T. It was uncanny when I listened to the description last night. It was exactly like this retired General described. He also said that is why its been so hard to get him because the armed forces would want to make sure it was him. Great job all around and I also thought it was great how Pres Obama gave credit to the former administration too. There are some things we can all agree on and this was one of them for sure. Great day for America and the world!

perhaps the us has learned a valuable lesson for going forward; they were pro saddam in the early 80s and pro bin laden during the soviet invasion; be careful who you do business with

I didn't hear Obama praise the Bush Administration, but if he did, then good job by him.

It is ironic that this big win for the US came about because of the single mindedness of the effort to get Bin Laden which began immediately after 9-11 and spanned two adimistrations. I say ironic because by all reports the lead (the identification of the courier) that eventually led to Bin Laden's whereabouts in all probability came from the use of methods that Obama has condemned.... and possibly was gotten at the locations in Eastern Europe that Obama has closed. This was truly a victory for all Americans.... but when I heard Barney Frank's comments this morining, accusing House Majority Leader Eric Cantor of politicising the event simply because he was reminding us that the Bush adminstration deserves some credit here... it just served to bring me back to earth a little and I see it will just be busines as usual as far as partisanship in the Congress. Frank is the one who politicised it.

The President did praise the efforts of former President Bush and also indicated that after the raid President Bush was the first person that he called. This is no time for politization. We are all Americans first rather than Democrats or Republicans.

I am with you on that. That is exactly what I am saying... but then you have Barney Frank.

...and then there's that cancer, the eventual cause for our assured downfall, political correctness. As Yahoo reports, "Backlash over Bin Laden Codename (Geronimo)."

There are a few on both sides of the fence trying to politicize the moment. And yes Barney Frank is one of them but so is Sarah Palin. Fortunately they are in a very small minority. The killing of Bin Laden does not end the war on terror but is a significant victory for the United States and many other nations. Let's not quibble over who gets what credit.

Tom I agree. Anyone trying to politicize this is a complete A-Hole in my book....and yes, Barney Frank and Sarah Palin are charter members. Sunday was not a day of closure for those who lost loved ones on 9/11 and the ensuing invasion into Afganistan, but it does provide a ray of satisfaction that he can no longer haunt them. Trying to make this political is disrespectful and shameful for all who have suffered a loss....they should know better, but they are the worst of the worst.

I just saw the slides of the Pres' visit to Ground Zero. It seemed very respectful and appropriate. Nice job Mr. President.

Feelings of sadness at the memories of that awful day. RIP to the victims.
