Cooley's TO with 11 seconds in the game

He appeared to be in shock for most of the game. I thought it was more out of line that he was arguing about Bentil getting ejected. Was as big of a flagrant 2 foul that I've seen since sterling Gibbs pounding on archidiacino last year.

When Cooley sees a replay of what Bentil did he'll no doubt realize that the call was justified.

Don't know what Cooley's thinking was, but glad he did....gave Carrington the time to come out and get his due!

He did and he doesn't.

BTW, the Hall players really like Cooley. Said a lot of nice things about him.

On the Trove I asked specific questions about that with Whitehead who has talking to the Providence coach on occasion during the game. Whitehead could not have been more complimentary. He clearly likes Cooley and the feeling is mutual.

Tons of respect.

Cooley is a very good guy. Buds with Willard. We have to avoid the temptation to look at everyone's actions through our blue lenses.

Cooley is a gem for the Big East too. Nothing is forever, but he's a New England guy and Providence seems to be his destination job. The league needs several anchor coaches that don't see these as steppingstone jobs.

I like Cooley. I was actually surprised he wasn't more animated last night. He either knew they were going to lose based on Dunn's condition or was in a state of shock.
