You could tell Chris Mullin was a ex player cause he curses up a storm. Refs gave him a lot of leeway and warned him on multiple occasions..
St. Johns did a great job of over playing IW right. On every possession. And Whitehead would still go right. He better learn how to dribble with his left or he is going to struggle against any team that watches today's game tape.. St. Johns was basically gifting anything to the left and IW would still dribble wide right every time..
Good teams find ways to win and that is what we have done BUT we better find some offense in the second half of games or its going to come back and bite us big time..
Thought the St. Johns crowd was pretty good for a 1 win Big East team. wasn't much of a student presence though which is understandable given the noon start on a Sunday..
I think we need 21 wins to feel good.. I am not buying 20 wins and we are in.. This is not the old big east and 20 does not guarantee a lock. plus 20 wins means we finish the season 1-4 and the selection committee would be able to say SHU had a chance to play its way into the tourney and lost 4 play in games.. only 20 wins and we are OUT..
